This is the story of a few very furious men. One of them, Dan Bigras, has always sung. He put on a filmmaker’s cap to speak to us of his friends: guys who have found in extreme combats and the martial arts’ philosophy a way to channel the rage that lives inside them. OK, these bouts have a bad reputation. But all violence is born of pain, as the singer-filmmaker shows us in a troubling way. As much as for his friends as for himself, the ring serves as a metaphor for the fight inside. From this point on, it is impossible to look at the patrons of this highly controversial sport in the same way. They have transformed their rage in a crazed desire to live. Their courage and their truth will simply knock you out.
